FELICE, Nicholas C. "Nick" of Saginaw, Michigan, Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and avid outdoorsman passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home with his wife and son by his side. He was 54 years old. Nicholas C. Felice was born on July 9, 1960 in Saginaw to Frank I. Felice and Donna Jean (Larry) Mey. He was a graduate of Douglas McArthur High School with the class of 1978. He then attended Western Michigan University graduating in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. It was at college he met the love of his life, Julie M. Kidle. They were united in marriage on August 14, 1982 in Saranac. Throughout his life he worked for various retail and commercial lawncare companies, most recently with Reder Landscaping. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Above all, Nick loved and cherished his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Julie M. Felice of Saginaw; son, Frank D. Felice and his fiancée, Krystle Mooney of Caro; three grandchildren: Ava, Nicky and Asher; father, Frank I. Felice of Bay City; mother and step-father, Donna Jean and Larry Mey of Gladwin; two sisters; Michelle M. Dulac of Frankenmuth, Amy (Michael) Messer of Bay City; stepbrother, Eric Mey of Jenison; two stepsisters, Charmaine (Brian) Kyle, Alicia (Tim) Kasen of Byron Center; father-in-law, Elroy D. (Cheryl) Kidle of Saranac; and sister-in-law, Sue (Steve) Beattie of St. Louis; his beloved dog, Hammer. He also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patricia Kidle. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Kirk Havel will officiate. Honoring Nick's wishes cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Julie Felice. Amy and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Nick as Amy's brother and I could clearly see how devoted he was to you Amy, as well as the rest of your family. I also knew Nick professionally as the landscape provider to Heather Ridge Condo Association representing Reder's Landscaping. I so valued and appreciated Nick's professional expertise, as well as his kindness and patience in working with all of us at Heather Ridge. We will all miss his excellent work ethic and commitment to his passion for making yards look beautiful. I will also personally miss him as a person that I considered a new friend. May all of you have the best of who Nick was live on in you in tribute to Nick's life on this earth that was sadly taken away too soon. My condolences, Linda LaVictor.
