Carlene was such a Beautiful lady. She would come every year to Faith Lutheran's Lady Guild Christmas party with her mother and sister. After her mother passed she still went with her sister. I think it is wonderful they kept coming as memory of their mother. A few times Carlene and her sister would sit at my table. Not having her sit at one of my tables is going to be odd and hard. Having her sit at my table for the Christmas party was a lot of fun. No matter what I was always glad to see her a few times a year at my church(Faith Lutheran the church she grew up in) or Meijer at her job. She always knew when she came their so many people that loved her. I will miss her not setting with for one of lent soup supper. I enjoyed talking to her. I now know Carlene you are in heaven with your parents and infant sibling no longer suffering her on earth

Carlene had a very unique and wonderful personality. She was my friend and my Avon lady. We went to school together. I will miss her wonderful sense of humor and giggling face when we shared a chuckle or two. She will be missed very much, but I know I will see her again in heaven with Jesus. God Bless her family. And, as Carlene would only understand, "Egads, I'll see you after, later." (in heaven, Carlene, when it is my time to go.) Sing with the angels until I get there!!!! (smile) Your friend,

I went to SVSU with Carlene and am saddened to hear of her passing. She was a joy to be around then, and whenever I saw her around town, she never seemed to have changed. Rest in Peace dear lady.

I was one of the lucky one that got to work with Carlene. She was a wonderful, crazy person. She told me many times about her "pooh" collection. I thought she had just a few..wow was I surprised to see how many there really was. Carlene you were one in a million. May you rest in peace my friend. Cindy
