Obituary
Christopher, Angela of Boyne City formerly of Saginaw, Loving mother of five children passed away in her home Thursday, July 31, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was 38 years old. Angie worked for several years as the office manager at the University of Michigan Camp Michigania, a job which she loved. She is survived by her children: Cory Christopher, Gregory Christopher, Rudy Christopher, Angel Medina and Cameron O'Keefe; grandchildren: Briella and Cannon Christopher and Kasen Dominic; parents, Reyes and Sue (Christopher) Gomez; two sisters: Jennifer (Mike) Jarvis and Toni Christopher; brother, Reyes Gomez II. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Angela was counted as a good friend by many people because of her generous and loving personality. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. I had the great pleasure of knowing Angie first, as the administrative assistant of my Husband at the Economic Alliance, second, as a client via Camp Michigania, and last but not the least, as a friend. Angie was a funny, determined single mother of five whom I respected immensely for her those qualities and her honesty, She persevered through hard times always with her children's best interest at heart and her light will shine on in them.
For Angel,
I am sorry I missed giving you a hug at the funeral but let this letter be your hug. You are your mother's daughter and because of that I know you will be strong. I always treasured your bright welcoming smile when ever you saw me and remember the many hugs you gave me as a little girl. Always keep that bright light shining in your smile, that and the determination I know you must have from your Mother will take you a long way. Your future is bright. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts.

Deepest sympathies for the family and children of Angela Christopher. I met her only once just recently this spring. She had a wonderful personality. I have no doubt she will be deeply missed.
