MOTLEY, Charlene D. of St. Charles, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 4, 2014. She was 62 years old. Charlene Denise Hunter was born on August 25, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Johnny and Inez (Blount) Hunter. She graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit, Michigan. Later, Charlene worked as a secretary for HealthSource of Saginaw for many years. In her spare time, Charlene enjoyed gardening, canning, sailing, and just being outside. Surviving are her four daughters: Sharmal Motley, Shawn Hill, Michelle Motley, and Toni Clay; boyfriend, Joel Cronk; eight grandchildren; mother, Inez Hunter; and two brothers: Phillip and Michael Hunter. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Hunter and husband, Anthony Motley. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., as well as on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. To the family of Charlene Hunter Motley. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Charlene from many years ago at Pershing High School. She was such a pleasant soft spoken individual with a lovely smile. May God grant you comfort and peace. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult hour.
