QUINNAN - Thomas Michael "Beasley" Quinnan, 56, born, September 6, 1957 passed away July 20, 2014, beloved son of William A. Quinnan and the recently deceased Donna J. Quinnan, cherished father of Thomas Michael Cholcher-Quinnan and loving brother to Martin (Mary McLoughlin) Quinnan, Loretta (Ed) Wilson, Brian (Sue Kern) Quinnan, Mike (Sandy Churchfield) Quinnan, Jim Quinnan, Martha (Tom) Farrington, David Quinnan and Billy Quinnan and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom was the fourth child of Bill and Donna Quinnan's nine children. He was predeceased by his cherished mother and his dearly loved father-in-law, Karl Cholcher. Tom graduated from St. Mary's Cathedral High School in 1976 and worked as a structural iron worker for union locals #549 and #550 in Saginaw. Tom was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed the outdoors - particularly hunting and fishing. He, like his mother, took great joy in his four-legged friends, specifically, Josie, Jiggs and Max. In his last few months he and his dad, Bill, relished their talks of how well their beloved Detroit Tigers were doing this season. His parting words to all of us might be: "Don't take life for granted; it goes too fast." VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter, (off State) on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a sharing of thoughts and memories from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm. Honoring the memory of Tom, a Memorial Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at The Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption.Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.deislerfuneralhome.com

My condolences to the family and friends of Tom. I knew him in grade school and always considered him to be such a nice person. Prayers for all of you who mourn his passing.

I knew Tommy through his brother, Brian, first back in the 70's when Brian worked at McDonalds. I was going with John Konieczka. I met Tom and would run into him now and then. Tom always had a smile on his face. I will miss seeing it and him. Prayers to your family. Rest in Peace. John died in 2005.

I am sorry to hear this. For some reason I thought to look him up this morning. I knew "Beasley" for a couple years back in 1978 when I lived in Saginaw. Back then I used to frequent a tavern in my neighborhood called Mr. Pete's, and sometimes he would stop by always bringing smiles wherever he went. I recall playing quite a few shuffleboard games with him and others, now gone too. Now I'm retired and living in Geneva, NY, but I remember him as one of those fun loving spirits of my youth. Great photo, just like I remember him. My condolences to the family............
