ANDERSON, Dollie of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the age of 81. Dollie Ann Yates was born in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Ervin A. and Lola M. (Ayres) Yates. She married Arthur T. Anderson on November 19, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death on July 28, 2007 after 51 years of marriage. Dollie graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1951. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dollie is survived by her two daughters and one son: Vicki (Gordon) Peterson, Tom Anderson, and Kathy (Brian) Hensler; five grandchildren: Kendra (Marty) Moyses, Craig Pinckney, Carolyn Pinckney, Jeff Hensler, and Matt Hensler; one great-grandson, Zachariah Pinckney; and one sister, Donna Matthews. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church at Court and Bond. Pastor William Brassow will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., as well as on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. Dollie was a great neighbor. She and I shared many stories. We had many good discussions. She was always there to let my dog out if I had a day.trip or late arrival time getting home. We will miss her in this neighborhood. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of cousin Dollies passing and especially too late to attend her funeral. Dollie and Art came to many of our Michigan family reunions, allowing me to get to know them/her better. She was more than willing to provide me with her family info while researching my Ayres family history.
My sincerest condolences to Dollie's family. I know she will be very missed.
