Dale Watters

WATTERS, Dale E. Jr., of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home in Spring Lake, Michigan. He was 56 years old. Dale E. Watters, Jr. was born on April 29, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Dale E. Sr. and Leona (Rethman) Watters. He graduated from Carrollton High School. Dale was employed by Dow Chemical for over 20 years. He was an avid baseball fan, especially the Detroit Tigers, enjoyed music and playing his guitar, as well as participating in theater with Pit & Balcony and the Midland Center for the Arts. Dale is survived by his daughter, Leah Walton; mother, Leona (Bill) Masica; brother, Dan Watters; niece, Krystal Watters; step-mother, Betty Watters; and many other family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale E. Watters, Sr. on February 17, 2012. MEMORIAL: Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Ames United Methodist Church, 801 State Street 48602. Pastor Mark Karls will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Ames United Methodist Church on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to his daughter, Leah Walton to help with funeral costs.
