Ed was truely "one in a million", a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, devoted Christian, and a man who was known for his integrity, honesty, and a love for life. May he rest in peace knowing that he leaves a legacy of love and committment to his dear family and the many who knew and respected him. With love and sympathy to Ed's entire family, Barb and Ron Bullotta

I was heartbroken to learn of Grandpa Wheatley's passing. He was such a great man and I'll never forget how sweet he was to me. I absolutely loved him as my own family - just like I do all of you - and will cherish the memories I have ... especially those in Traverse City! I'm so sorry I can't be there to celebrate his life, but know that I am thinking of your family and sending love and prayers. Hopefully you can find peace knowing that him and Grandma are back together dancing on a cloud in heaven. He will be missed. XOXO - Amy Popp-Hellebuyck

Such a loss for our family. But it brings solace to know that he is now back with his wife, our mother and grandmother, and all of his family. Such a blessing to have had this man as my grandfather. Surely he will be missed but he leaves behind so many great memories to reflect on that bring peace and comfort. His passing was what would have been the day of my grandparents seventy-first wedding anniversary, having shared sixty-five anniversaries together here on earth. Thank you for everything grandpa, we love you.
