Yolanda Yrlas

YRLAS, Yolanda of Saginaw, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 21, 2014 at her home. She was 47 years old. Yolanda Yrlas was born on May 18, 1966 in Saginaw to Ramiro and Julia (Miramontes) Yrlas. Prior to moving back to Saginaw, Yolanda was employed by McDonald's Restaurant as a food preparation cook. She was a selfless soul and a wonderful mother to her three children. Yolanda also loved spending time with her mother, brothers, sisters and extended family. Surviving are a daughter and two sons: Veronica (Jorge) Lopez of Grand Rapids, Guadalupe Delacruz of Grand Rapids, and Ramiro Lopez of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Mariah Linda Contreras and Izzabella Marie Fryer; mother, Julia Nunez of Saginaw; four brothers and two sisters: Marcos (Gina) Yrlas, Raymond Yrlas, Alberto Nunez, Fernando Nunez, Linda Ojeda and Rosalinda Yrlas, all of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ramiro Yrlas. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th Ave. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris OFMCap will officiate. Honoring Yolanda's wishes cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service honoring Yolanda will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Yolanda will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
