RAMIREZ, Miguel H. "Mike" of Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away on Sunday, April 06, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was 78 years old. Miguel H. Ramirez was born on August 11, 1935 in Bastrop, Texas to the late Alberto and Adela (Hernandez) Ramirez. He proudly enlisted into the United States Army in 1953. Following his honorable discharge he began working for Malleable Iron from 1956 until 1962. During that time he married the love of his life, Delores Samaniego on December 21, 1959 in Moore Haven, Florida. He then began to work for Delco Moraine as a machinist in 1962, retiring September 2, 1994 with over 32 years of service. Mike was an avid fisherman and ice fisherman. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tiger's and Lion's and spending time with his family. Surviving are his beloved wife of 54 years, Delores Ramirez; five children: Michelle (Jody) Figueroa of Bay City, Gilbert (Sue) Ramirez of Hemlock, AnnMargaret Bublitz of Carrollton, Elizabeth (Greg) Britton of Zilwaukee, and the late, Michael Ramirez; 16 grandchildren: Annabella, Trent, Angela (Tommy), Gilbert II, Mitchell (Sisi), Robert, Justin, Timothy Jr. (Kay), Michael, Caitlin (Josh), Alexandria, Jacob, Ashley, Michael II, Brandon, and Gianna; seven great-grandchildren and two on the way; siblings: Emma Corona of Bastrop, TX, Albert (Carmen) Ramirez of Saginaw, and Elida (Bill) Hernandez of Saginaw. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor R. B. Ouellette will officiate. Military Honors and Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. VISITATION: Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 9:00 a.m. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.deislerfuneralhome.com.

I sure miss you grandpa! I'll always remember and smile when I think about how you used to answer the phone. How you still had a sense of humor during the time you were very sick. I remember seeing you one day and I told you that you looked good. You told me you were having a bad day because you didn't have your newspaper. I remember visiting you in the hospital and I asked you why you were in there again and you told me you got bored being at home. There are so many memories I have with you and I will forever hold them in my heart. I love you grandpa! My babies miss you! Aliana came over to your house the day you made heaven your new home. She looked all over the house for you. She brought her great grandpa some apple pie. Alexavier woke up that morning and asked where you went. It sure is hard, but we are such a close family and will be there to support each other through it all. I love you grandpa, and I miss you so much! Angela
