LISEE, Lavina A. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 18, 2014 at St. Mary's of Michigan. She was 72 years old. Lavina A. Manchester was born on February 1, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Loyad J. and Lavina A. (Crandall) Manchester. Lavina married Roger L. Lisee on October 3, 1959; he preceded her in death on December 17, 1999. She attended Saginaw High School, but received her diploma from Buena Vista High School. Later, she was very proud to earn her Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy certifications. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, fishing, and bird watching. She loved nothing more than her family. Surviving are her son, Roger L. (Jean) Lisee Jr.; daughter, Shelly (Rick) Jamrog; three grandchildren: Roger L. (Cassandra) Lisee III, Nicole Lisee and David Martus, and Julia Jamrog; one sister, Diann (Clarence) Beyerlein; in-laws: Jackie (Larry) LaBelle and Richard Lisee; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 40 years, Roger Sr.; one sister, Ruth Ann Thomas; and one brother, Elmer Manchester. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Rev. Phillip DeVries will officiate. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. I will miss talking to you every other night. Also coming over and helping you out. And going to Zenders. And listening to you talk about your bluebirds. I can tell you's all she loved her grandkids very very much, and also Austin and her special granddaughter (Jaydan). We would talk for hours. -Janet

Dear Diann and Family,
I was so sorry to read about Lavina's sudden passing. Today, I am fondly remembering the fun we all had, as kids, growing up on 25th Street, back in the 50s. Good memories.
