Obituary
SHARKO, Tena of Saginaw Township, Michigan, formerly of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on March 28, 2014 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. She was 96 years old. The daughter of the Late Tom and Eva (Teleschonko) Sharko was born on January 19, 1918 in Makoti, ND. The family moved to Ashtabula, Ohio where she lived for a large portion of her life until moving to Saginaw, MI in 2010 to be closer to her niece and family. She retired from Reliance Electric after 40 years of service. Surviving are multiple nieces and nephews, including Tena (Sharko) Vincent who was her caregiver for the past four years. Tena was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Dora, Alice, Anna, Elsie, and Stacia; and brothers: Alex and Nick. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date before she is laid to rest at Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula, OH with her parents. Thank you carol and friends! Aunt Tena was quite a woman. Always stubborn but still able to help her friends when they needed it. She very much enjoyed your cards and letters after we moved her up here to care for her. She is greatly missed... she will be buried at edgewood cemetery in ashtabula on sat.
