CONRAD, Bridget M. (O'Brien) of Saginaw, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 63 years old. Bridget Maureen O'Brien was born on June 9, 1950 to Cornelius "David" and Donna (Rogalski) O'Brien. She was a 1968 Honors graduate of Bridgeport High School. Bridget was a talented seamstress and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Besides her mother, Bridget leaves two children: Matthew (Jenny) Conrad and Alison Valasek; three grandchildren: Brenden Conrad, Kennedy Conrad, and Maggie Valasek; and four sisters and two brothers: Becky O'Brien, Rachel Roenicke, Laura Lindstrom, Amy Cook, Neil O'Brien and Dan O'Brien. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State) on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family, c/o Alison Valasek. Matt and Allison....so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a beautiful person. I remember all of the piano lessons with the two of you. Your Mother spent many hours sewing for me. I'll bet she loved her grandchildren. I am living up at Secord Lake in Gladwin County. My prayers and thoughts are with you both.

Rachel, I was very sorry to learn of your sister's passing. I'm an only child, so I'll never know just what it's like to lose a sibling, but whenever a close family member leaves us, I think we can all share in that pain. I hope all of your memories stay as warm and fresh as the day they happened. That's the best we can hope for in this life.
