BUDDLE, Rose M. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Saginaw Geriatrics Nursing Home. She was 94 years old. Rose Marie Ickes was born on June 27, 1919 to the late Chalmer and Amelia (Ickes) Randall in Clare, Michigan. Rose married Jack Junior Buddle on April 19, 1947 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on August 17, 2003. She was employed by General Motors for many years until her retirement. Rose and Jack belonged to the Allegro Motor Home Club and traveled all over the country. They also belonged to the Polish Falcons Club. Surviving are one son and three daughters: Don (Sue) Richard, Sonya (Bob) Frost, Sharon Bishop, and Jacquelyn Ecker; nine grandchildren: Todd (Deanne) Richard, Paul (Lori) Richard, Kevin Richard, Becky (Craig) Smith, Tracy Weber, Jeff (Stacey) Garner, Steve Garner, Jamie (Jill) Ecker, and Jasun (Michelle) Ecker; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two step-brothers; brother- and sister-in-law, Dale and Dorrine Buddle; and brother-in-law, Ralph Buddle. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Jack; sister, Iola (George) Krueger; and son-in-law, Ron Bishop. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Brian Martinus will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Dice Wesleyan Church, 3950 N. Thomas Rd., Freeland MI 48623 or Heartland Hospice, 1426 Straits Dr., Bay City MI 48706. My deepest sympathy to all the Family of Grandma Rosie, she was a great person to know. Sometimes strong willed but we still loved her. She always had to have her kiss and she always made you feel good. She was a great dresser too everything always coordinated right down to the earrings she always wore. I will always remember her. Our condolences to the Buddles on Aunt Rosies passing. She was a great woman. I have many fond memories of their summer home in Albright Shores being shared
with my grandparents, Aunt Rosie, and Uncle Jack. They were great times.
She will be greatly missed.
