PECK, Woodrow "Woody" Louis of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. He was 71 years old. Woodrow Louis Peck was born on November 21, 1942 in Coopersville, Michigan to the late Roy L. and Helen D. (Davie) Peck. He married Jacquelyn K. Souter on March 7, 1964. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 as a medical specialist. Woodrow was employed by Grey Iron for 30 years, until he retired in 2003. He enjoyed collecting bottles, pinball machines, and the outdoors, including hunting, fly fishing, and his cabin. Woodrow enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. Surviving are wife of 50 years, Jacquelyn; two sons: Daniel Peck and Randal (Tammi) Peck; eight grandchildren: Brian, Carter, Malia, Autumn, Lance, Sydney, Corbin, and Carson; two aunts; sister- and brother-in-law, Dave and Diane Huyser; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Per Woodrow's request, all services are private. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Cartwright Hospice Residence, 3443 Hospital Rd., Saginaw MI 48603, Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods, 8214 Pfeiffer Farms Dr. SW, Bryon Center MI 49315, or the American Cancer Society, 1480 W. Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss. Even when expected, it doesn't make it easier. I pray that remembering the good times with Woody will ease some of your pain. Dear Jackie,

Jackie and family,
We were sorry to read of Woody passing. He was a wonderful person. We fondly remember your visits with our parents when we were children and getting to know you as we became adults. Matt and I especially enjoyed Woody sharing his knowledge of antiques and we enjoyed hearing his stories. Jackie we are thinking of you and the boys.
