Mary Schmidt

SCHMIDT, Mary L. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Covenant Care-Cooper. She was 61 years old. Mary L. Schmidt was born on July 13, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Charles and RoseMarie (Accetta) Schmidt. Mary graduated from Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic High School with the Class of 1970. She then went on to work for the Secretary of State as an office manager for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2008. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, making stain glass, cooking, and reading. Relatives and friends surviving are: Carol (Duane) Sartor, Cathy (Ray) Faubert, Rachelle (Mike) Puffpaff, JoAnn Accetta, Christine Accetta, Marie McGregor, Barb Starr, and Dave LaValley. Also surviving are many other family members and friends. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Deacon Roger Pasionek will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
