PRYOR, Jack A. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 80 years old. Jack A. Pryor was born on November 30, 1933 in Saginaw to the late Alfred and Ella (Thomas) Pryor. He married the love of his life, Nancy Miessner on August 22, 1953; she preceded him in death on October 26, 1997. Jack worked as a machinist with Baker Perkins, retiring after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed working in his yard and creating beautiful works through landscaping. Jack also loved gardening, especially growing a variety of flowers. Surviving are five daughters: Karen (Randy) Illikman of Houghton Lake, Debbie (Larry) Huizenga of Hudsonville, Diane (Tony) Dembinsky of Florida, Julie (Scott) Swanson of Saginaw, and Dawn (James) Clemons of Saginaw; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Emma (Gerald) Smith of Saginaw; and a special partner, Patricia Samuels of Saginaw. He was preceded in death by two brothers: James and Alfred Pryor. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Daniel Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
