Thomas Kretschmer

I remember having Mr. Kretschmer for 7th grade science and it was fun. He seemed tough on the outside but had a heart of gold. I really enjoyed having him for a teacher 1972-1973 at Hemlock Middle School. He will be missed. Prayers to Mr. K's family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. My sympathies go to his children, siblings and friends. He is gone too soon. I worked with Tom in Hemlock for many years. He was a wonderful person, nice to students and coworkers, alike. I will be in New York visiting my daughter and son-in-law on Monday, so unable to attend the service. Please know that my thoughts are with all who loved Tom.

Remington and Howard......It seems like just yesterday that all of us were playing baseball in the street, kick the can, hide and seek, and walking down Howard St. to go to St.Mary's School. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...

During the most enjoyable and memorable vacation of my life, and my first visit to Michigan, I had the good fortune to visit Lumberman's Monument with Tom Kretschmer, his wife Diane, and sister Connie. RIP Tom Greg Perrone
