William Mueller

MUELLER, William Andrew, of Saginaw passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. He was 86 years old. William was born on Jun 11, 1927 to the late Edward and Margaret (Rutch) Mueller. He married Joanne Rank on October 10, 1948 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High School. William proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1948. He was employed by Saginaw Steering Gear and retired in the early 1990's. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post # 439. William also enjoyed golfing, bowling, the Detroit Tigers and Lions but most of all his family. Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Joanne; his children: William (Barbara) Mueller of Wis., Thomas Mueller of Saginaw, James (Teri) Mueller of Colo., Cynthia (Jon) Milne of Marion Springs, Robert Mueller of Colo. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kurt (Kari) Mueller, Carrie (Ryan) McGovern, Katie (Don) Engel, Heather Fusco, Emily and Kyle Mueller, Kelly (Michael) Humphrey, Jacob and Shanna Milne and Alana Mueller; great grandchildren: Helena, Shea, Stella, Fintan, Margot, Alec, Trent, Drew, Samantha, Theadora, Elliana, Averie and Carter. William was preceded in death by his brother, Don Mueller. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Eastlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7475 E. Holland Rd., Saginaw, Michigan 48601. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Cremation has taken place. MILITARY: Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of American Legion Post #439.
