NEWVINE, Ann F. (Yule) of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 77 years old. Ann F. Yule was born on October 16, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late LaVern R. and Frances (Smith) Yule. Ann graduated from Ss. Peter & Paul High School in 1954. She married Duane W. Newvine on March 9, 1957 in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; after 41 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on August 1, 1998. She was employed by the Saginaw Board of Education for 22 years before retiring in 1995. Ann was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul and St. Stephen Catholic Churches. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed making and painting ceramics and Notre Dame football, but most of all, her grandchildren. Surviving are three sons and one daughter: Robert D. Newvine, Clinton Township MI, Gary T (Sandy) Newvine, Saginaw Township, Michael J. Newvine and Andrea Ryeson, West Bloomfield MI, and Tammie Erskine and Jeff Dye, Fort Lauderdale FL; four grandchildren: Christie (Michael) Beck, Elizabeth A. (Paul) Cieszlak, Tim Erskine Jr., and Brenden Newvine; two great-granddaughters: Hallie Beck and Adrianna "Squeak" Cieszlak; and her loving dog, Journey. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Avenue. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L. Street N.W., Washington, DC, 20037 or Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Bob, Gary, Mike and Tammy sorry for the loss of your mom. She loved her kids and grandkids and furry kids, she was a wonderful caring person.
The kids of Southlawn Ct. will always remember her for her flag days and letting them cool off on the hottest of summer days.

My deepest condolences to the Newvine family and my great friend Bob. Some people read the bible but many don't act upon its teachings. You my friend acted, took the lead and tried to help your mother the best you could. Just like your mother tried to help all her family and friends all of her life. May God bless your dearly departed mother and help your family through their times of sorrow.

My daughter found Journey last summer when she was missing. She walked Journey for Ann for several months. We got to know Ann and can say we are honored to have had that opportunity. I can tell you Journey sure did love her Mommy a great deal!! (Please give her Hugs and Kisses for us, as I am sure she is missing Ann a great deal.) Heaven gained another angel. We send our sincere condolences to her Children, Grandchildren, Journey, and Other Family Members. If there is anything we can do to help during this hard time, please don't hesitate to contact us.
