Kim Roth

ROTH, Kim W. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at St. Mary's of Michigan. He was 59 years old. Kim Walter Roth was born on July 30, 1954 in Saginaw to the late Edward A. and Hilda M. (Scully) Roth. He married the love of his life, Judy A. McGuire on September 1, 1979 in Saginaw at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. She survives him. Kim was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. He was employed by Delphi Chassis as a Job Setter and retired with over 19 years of dedicated service. Kim enjoyed, hunting, fishing and camping. Above all, Kim treasured and cherished his family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Judy A. Roth of Saginaw; four children: Chad (Amanda) Roth of Eau Claire, WI, Kevin (Alaina) Roth of Saginaw, Kimberly (Ben) Sumey of Saginaw, and Carrie Roth of Eau Claire, WI; four grandchildren: Alyson, Isabelle and Eliot Roth of Eau Claire, WI, Henry Sumey of Saginaw; two brothers: Edward (Helen) Roth and Michael Roth; a sister-in-law, Susan Roth; two brothers-in-law: Thomas (Francine) McGuire and Dennis (Karen) McGuire; father- and mother-in-law, Neil and Phyllis McGuire. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Karen Mallak and Connie Emerson; and a sister-in-law, Peggy McGuire. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3424 Crestmont Drive. Pastor Michael Wilke will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
