James DeHart

DEHART, James David of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at The Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. He was 69 years old. James David DeHart was born on June 11, 1944 to Samuel and Ruth (McCarty) DeHart. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. James was a member of Hopevale Church and enjoyed golfing, fishing, family and music, managing several groups during his years in marketing. Surviving are a son, James David "J.D." DeHart; a sister, Gloria DeHart of Saginaw; two brothers, Del (Kate) DeHart of Saginaw and Bill (Charlotte) DeHart of Clovis, CA; a brother-in-law, Norm Bishop; and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Bishop. In accordance with James' wishes cremation has taken place. FUNERAL: Funeral Services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Chaplin Cathy Teter will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of American Legion Post #439. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
