Obituary
ZUZULA, Patricia Ann of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence with her family by her side. She was 84 years old. Patricia Ann Terrian was born on October 29, 1928 in Saginaw, to the late Joseph and Anne (Linsday) Terrian. She married the love of her life, John P. Zuzula on July 3, 1948 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on April 16, 1979. Patricia was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and also attended Delta College, studying nursing. She was a loving, devoted and caring nanny for 30 years, everyone knowing her as "Granny". Patricia was a proud volunteer of Covenant VNA Hospice. She was also a volunteer for the "Coats for Kids" program, donating countless hats and mittens - knitting them all with love. She also used her knitting talent to make lap robes for Luther Manor Nursing Home. Patricia also enjoyed writing, journaling and reading. She spent many hours volunteering in school "READ" programs to excite, inspire and teach children the importance of reading. She was also involved various other educational organizations including the PTA for both Stone Elementary and North Intermediate School; as well as being a Girl Scout leader. She was also a faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Above all, Patricia loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Surviving are four daughters and two sons: Cheryl Rosebush of Bay City, Carol (Jerry) Moon of St. Charles, Barbara (Bob) Leggitt of Saginaw, Beverly (David) Erway of Saginaw, Tom (Fran) Zuzula of Saginaw, and Jeff Zuzula of Saginaw; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Honoring Patricia's wishes cremation has taken place.
