Dale Garchow

GARCHOW, Dale A. of Saginaw passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Cartwright House with his loving family by his side. He was 64 years old. Dale was born March 17, 1949 to the late Otto and Cleona (Tessman) Garchow. He was one of many siblings. He married Gerri Krasinski on February 7, 1969 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Saginaw; she survives him. Dale graduated from Saginaw High School and was employed by General Motors and a member of UAW Local 699 until his retirement in 1999. After retirement, he continued to work at Toys "R" Us where he considered his co-workers good friends. Dale also enjoyed going to the casino and loved gardening with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, his son Dale C. (Sara) Garchow, and his daughter Christa (Craig) Marcoux. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Christian and Katelin Garchow, Noah and Kelsi Marcoux. FUNERAL: Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Deisler Funeral Home 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Ronald F. Wagner will officiate. Cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m., as well as following the service until 3:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to American Cancer Society.
