A wonderful woman whose life was a gift to the world. Countless Christmas dinners, grills in the backyard, errant golf balls and golden retrievers to chase. So many laughs and what grand fun being a young buckaroo under her kind and watchful eye. The wonderful smells of her kitchen and the mysteries of this game called "bridge" played in front of the big picture window. I will miss my other mother.

A great lady has passed and will be missed by all of us who knew her. She leaves a legacy of kindness and compassion and limitless giving to others. As a young teenager enjoying many sleepovers with Sal, I was always amazed at Georgia's willing and easy ability to add one more ball to the many she was already juggling. Warm and gracious, this popular hostess personified the guru of both cooking and entertaining, and her recipes are a mainstay for many of us. It's nice to think she's up there, loved ones at her side, with the "Saturday Night Crew" enjoying a cocktail, hearing all the conversations, and planning a bridge game for tomorrow,

Sally, Prayers and thoughts to you and family on the loss of your mom. I still have the recipe card she wrote for me on her 7 layered salad. At the top it says "Mrs. Northways 7 layered salad". One sweet, kind, beautiful lady that I was fortunate to know. Love and God Bless.

As Aunt Georgia's niece, I send love and treasured memories upon her passing. She had a great influence in my life and I became a Kindergarten teacher and, with her recommendation, I became a Kappa Alpha Theta sorority sister of hers.....what an honor! In her memory, I have honored her through the Theta Foundation. My husband,Charles, our boys(Bill,Jim,Bob and families) send condolences to her survivors and much love. Sincerely, Nancy Magnusson
