KELLETT, Sr., John "Jack" Edward of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013. He was 79 years old. John Edward Kellett was born March 9, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John D. and Virginia (Kurbeck) Kellett. He married Ivalene "Ivy" on January 17, 1958 in Redondo Beach, California; she survives him. Jack proudly served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956, serving in Germany as a tank driver. After his honorable discharge, he then worked for General Motors for 43 years and 7 months, until his retirement in 1996. While employed at General Motors, he also owned and operated a one-of-a-kind hobby shop, "Nanny's", where he provided magic tricks, novelties, and theatrical equipment. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, collecting die cast cars, woodworking, model trains, but family get-togethers were his number one priority. Surviving are wife of 55 years, Ivalene; six children, John (Pam), Todd (Dolores), James (Toni), Deanna (fiancé, Bob), Randy (Connie), and Kelly (Jennifer); 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Marsha) Bennett and David (Martha) Kellett; three sisters, Virginia (Donald) Lyons, Bonnie (Lou) Blank, and Sandra Devito; and many other family members and friends. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Cremation has taken place. . VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Hospice of Hope, the American Cancer Society, or the American Legion Post #439. To My Dear Sweet Uncle Jack.. I will always Remember the Wonderful Christmas an New Years Eve with You and your Family, Grandpa and Grandma Kellett, All The Aunts andUncle's and My Cosins.We Would come up from Livonia, and spend some wonderful times. I remember your store, that I thought was so cool. and you let me get any candy and try on any costumes, Greg and I and Robin wanted.I will always treasure those memories. P.S. Loved the parties in Aunt Toots Basement, And Grandma and Grandpa Kellett Banging Pots and Pans On New Years Eve.I hope you Rest in Peace and Please Try not to Tease the Angles too Much!! Uncle Jack had the best personality. I always remember when we would visit, we would always come to his store. I really enjoyed seeing my dad and his brother together at our visits, because they would joke around. They act so much a like. Uncle Jack will surely be missed. I could say so many things about my Awsome Uncle Jack! He is the most Amazing Man ( Next to my Dad) I have every met! I will always Remember His Sence of Humor, How Kind,Loving and Fun He was. I have so many Memories of coming up from Livonia and spending the greatest Christmas's an New Year Eve with all my Aunts and Uncle and the many Cosins. I Loved his store and all the times he lets Greg,Robin and I have any Candy we wanted, and try on any customs we wanted on.I wanted to name my last Son Jack, after my My wonderful,awsome Uncle.Instead we name him a old Irish name. Shane Ryan. God Welcome you and Please try not to tease the Angles too Much!Love you Uncle Jack!! and you will always be in my Heart and in My Memories!!

So many wonderful memories.. The candy store you let me, Greg and Robin and I have as much as we wanted, The cool costumes you let us try on, The Christmas Days an New Years Eves we banged pots and pans!! I love you and will always remember the Great times we shared with the Kellett's.
