Obituary
LAMB, Stephen Shaw of Saginaw passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at home. He was 59 years old. Stephen Lamb was born on October 23, 1953 to Dr. James Edwin Lamb and Joyce Shaw Lamb. Steve grew up in the Adams Boulevard neighborhood and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1971. He attended Western Michigan University and transferred to Northern Michigan University Steve earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and was a lifelong member of Sigma Pi Fraternity Gamma Rho Chapter. To the delight of his family and friends, he returned to Saginaw after obtaining his degree. Steve and his beloved dog Max were often seen strolling together in the neighborhood. He always made time to stop and visit or lend a helping hand to whomever he met. Steve will be remembered for his caring and nurturing nature and will be deeply, deeply missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his mother; three siblings: Michael Francis Lamb, Katherine (Michael Bogren) Lamb, and Dr. William James (Nancy) Lamb; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Arrangements have been entrusted to Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Cremation has taken place as well as a private family ceremony. Steve will always be remembered by all the neighbors who had the privilege to meet him. We had many short visits with Steve and he is going to be missed on those daily trips through the park...
