Doug Washburn

I am a lawyer in Saginaw. I had the pleasure of getting to know Doug as opposing counsel on a few cases over the years. I remember him to be a gifted attorney and was always highly respected and regarded by plaintiff lawyers and defense lawyers alike. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Doug was that he always had a funny quick wit about him. Every time I saw him, he would always say something to make me laugh and lighten things up a little bit. A smile was almost always on his face. That is a wonderful gift for anyone to be blessed with. I met Doug and Libby 25 years ago when I moved to Saginaw from Texas. The minute Doug opened his mouth and one witty comment after another came out, I knew I had met a friend for life. He was always fun to be around. He will truly be missed. My love goes out to Libby, Kailey, Kristen and Annie. I'm sorry I can't be there in person but I'm there in spirit. I love you guys.
