Obituary
ARRAUT, Betty Jean of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Springfield, Missouri, Passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 81 years old. Betty Jean Walker was born on August 16, 1931 to the late William Lon and Nancy Beatrice (Parsley) Walker. She married the love of her life, Jose M. Arraut on December 8, 1950 in Harrison, Arkansas; he survives her. Betty was a proud graduate of Springfield High School. She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and shopping. Above all, Betty cherished her husband children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Jose Arraut of Saginaw; four sons and three daughters: Richard (Julie) Arraut, David (Allana) Arraut, Rose (Phillip) Arraut-Miller, Thomas (Gina) Arraut, Nancy Arraut, Maritza (Dwight) Perkins; surviving spouse of Raymond Arraut, Sherry Arraut, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond Arraut; grandson, James Arraut and a great granddaughter, Shyane Arraut. FUNERAL: A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Deacon Roger Pasionek will officiate. VISITATION: Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Special Olympics Saginaw County Area 22, 5355 South Glen Oak Drive, Saginaw, Michigan 48603, Holy Family Catholic Church or the American Cancer Socitey.
