McQUEEN, Oliver Charles of Saginaw Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. He was 67 years old. Oliver Charles McQueen was born on November 27, 1945 in Clio, Michigan to the late Harold C. and Ila Velle (Hankey) McQueen. He was a 1964 graduate of Clio High School. Oliver was employed as a Machinist at Severence Tool in Bridgeport; retiring after 38 years of service. Surviving is one cousin and a friend, Todd Graham of Farwell. Following Oliver's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Arrangements are entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (Off State). Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Oliver Charles McQueen. It is our prayer that God will bring much comfort to the family in the days ahead. Jehovah God has promised us a time when sickness and death will be no more. Rev. 21: 4 tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May the family have comfort and peace during this time of great loss.

I attended Clio schools with Oliver for many years and graduated with him in 1964 from Clio High School. It is always sad to hear of the death of a former classmate as I am saddened to hear about Oliver. He was always a very nice guy. My condolences to his friends and family.
