John Little

Little, Jr., John E. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He was 91 years old. John E. Little was born on June 8, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late John E. and Nellie (Smith) Little. He married Fern Evon Nalley on September 12, 1952. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1939. He then served in the United States Army during WWII with the 87th Engineering Group. Later, he went on to work for C&O (CSX) Railroad for 43 years until he retired in 1981. He was a member of the Saginaw Masonic Lodge #77 and the 32nd Consistory in Bay City Scottish Rite. Surviving are wife of 60 years, Fern Evon; three children, Thomas and wife, Kathy Little, Linda and husband, Richard Shaw, and David and wife, Joyce Little; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. FUNERAL: A funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State). Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Cremation and a private burial will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m, as well as from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
