Cecilia Wallaert

WALLAERT, Cecilia A. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away and was reunited with her Lord and the family that has went before her on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan. She was 92 years old. Cecilia Christ was born on July 18, 1920 in Saginaw, to the late Henry and Mary (Welsmiller) Christ. She married the love of her life, Warren J. Wallaert on November 6, 1943; he preceded her in death on September 29, 1993. Cecilia was a charter member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Surviving are one daughter, Carolyn (Bob) Druelle of Freeland; a son-in-law, David Peaphon of Saginaw; a sister, Catherine Christ of Saginaw; a brother, John (Lois) Christ of Saginaw; four grandchildren: Mary Jo (Richard) Mooney of Roseville, Lee Ann Inman of Freeland, Justin Gadd of California, Nathan Peaphon of Shields; two great grandchildren: Danielle Inman and Kyle Kiefer; two step grandchildren: David (Nickole) Peaphon, Michael (Nichole) Peaphon; four step great-grandchildren: Jeremy Peaphon, Clayton Peaphon, Faith Peaphon, Mackenzie Peaphon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Peaphon in 1987; four babies; four brothers and two sisters: Henry, Frederick, Clement, Herbert, Marie and Margaret; four sisters-in-law: Magdalene, Irene, Elvira, and Betty Christ. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles Street. Rev. Fr. Ronald F. Wagner will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at St. Helen Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
