Charity Sutton

SUTTON, Charity of Saginaw, MI passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at HealthSource of Saginaw, where she resided the past 11 years. She was 100 years old. Charity L. Lewless was born on April 7, 1912 in Saginaw, MI to the late Charles R. and Elizabeth M. (Woolgar) Lewless. She married Wellington A. (Bill) Sutton on January 7, 1939; he preceded her in death on January 22, 1996. Charity worked as a secretary at the Hartford Life Insurance Company for many years. She was a faithful lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. Charity was also a member of Timbertown Dollology Club, where she treasured and cherished making doll clothing. She was a talented and gifted seamstress, often making all of her clothing and many items around her house. Charity enjoyed cooking and working in her garden, but above all she truly loved reading. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at HealthSource for the wonderful care they provided to Charity throughout the years. Charity is survived by her loving niece and nephew: Bonnie (Jim) Sauve of Saginaw and Terry (Sherry) McDonald of Merrill; three great nieces and nephews: Jimmy Sauve of Saginaw, Kaylee and Brendan McDonald of Merrill. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Charity will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
