Eveline Jaskolski

JASKOLSKI, Eveline F. formerly of Burt, Michigan most recently of St. Francis Home in Saginaw, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Covenent Cooper. She was 89 years of age. Eveline Kushner was born June 21, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Joseph and Theresa Kushner. She was married to Leonard Jaskolski on July 2. 1960. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1970. She had been employed by Woolworth's at the soda counter, G.M. plant during World War II. Eveline also volunteered at Albee Elementary School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Albee and the Senior Centers in Chesaning, and Albee Township. Eveline enjoyed baking, playing BINGO and listening to Polka music. Surviving are a daughter and a son; Dolores (Todd) Kellett of Saginaw and Leonard Jaskolski of Burt. Eveline is also survived by two brothers and three sisters; Joseph (Phyllis) Kushner, Eleanor Haley, Marie (Floyd) Kraszewski, Anthony (Pat) Kushner, Irene (Giles) Beckman. Eveline is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eveline was preceded in death by a brother, Edward (Katherine) Kushner. Eveline's family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the staff of St. Francis Home for their loving care and compassion. FUNERAL: Eveline's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Harold Sikorski will officiate. Rite of Committal will take place in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Albee. VISITATION: Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
