Hermena Goodman

GOODMAN, Hermena of Saginaw, Michigan passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 91 years old. Hermena Arnst was born September 12, 1921 in Owosso to the late Jacob and Katherine (Dietz) Arnst. She was married to Eugene Harrison who preceded her in death. Hermena then married Andrew W. Goodman in 1973. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1981. Hermena was employed by General Motors. She worked at Grey Iron Foundry for more than 30 years before her retirement. Hermena loved to golf and spend time with her family and friends. Left to cherish Hermena's memory are her daughter, Cynthia (Rick) Klein; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Norman (Virginia) Arnst; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Edith Hughes, Olinda Arnst, Emma Arnst and Ella Dewald; three brothers: Walter, August and David Arnst. FUNERAL: Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State). Pastor Jerry Larkin will officiate with entombment in Chapel Hill Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
