GRIFFITH, Jean H. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 72 years old. Jean Hickey was born May 1, 1940 in Saginaw. She married Donald O. Griffith on June 1, 1957 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving are one son and three daughters: Richard (Cari) Griffith, Robin (Larry) Feuerborn, Rebecca (Robert) Dennison, Rachel Griffith and Luke Von Mohr; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother and two sisters: Robert Hickey, Mary Stuck, Gloria Abner. FUNERAL: Funeral services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Deisler Funeral home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Sherry Starke will officiate. Following Jean's wishes, cremation will follow. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Old Town Soup Kitchen. Jean was a very tender hearted compassionate and kind person. We were friends for a lot of years and shared many good times and difficult times. I have many fond memories of my time spent with her. It is very sad to loose her but I know she is with the Lord and is now without any heartache or pain. Becky, Rich Rachael and Robin I am so sorry for your loss and share your grief. You are all in my prayers. Jean I will miss you.
