Ethel Marko

MARKO, Ethel "Ann" of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. She was 74 years of age. Ethel Ann Packingham was born on December 16, 1937 in Holton Township, Michigan to the late Samuel and Ethel Betsey (Smith) Packingham. She married Ted Hackenberg on August 20, 2011 in Saginaw, Michigan. He survives her. Ann was also married to Chester Pickard and Stanley J. Marko Sr. who both have predeceased her. She was employed at General Motors until her retirement. Ann was a member of St. Anthony Padua Catholic Church. Surviving along with her husband Ted are her daughters, Cheryl (George) Stoll, Corinna (Dana) Garner, a daughter-in-law, Edith Vogl, Linda (Ken) Chapdelaine, Chris (Dewey) Ragan, Kathy Marko, Mary Kay Marko, Toni Marko, Teri Marko, Elaine Hackenberg, and Susan Hackenberg; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Russ Packingham; two sister-in-laws, Sybil Packingham and Janet Hackenberg; two brother-in-laws, Richard Grillo and John Hackenberg. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and "The Boys" from Saginaw Valley State University. Ann was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Pickard and Stanley Marko Jr.; a grandson, Kenny Chapdelaine; two sisters and two brothers, Mary Lou Sander, Lorraine Grillo, Donald Packingham, and Robert Packingham. MEMORIAL SERVICE- According to Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the chapel at Saginaw Valley State University, 7400 Bay Road.
