Elmer Manchester

MANCHESTER, Elmer L. "Al" of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan. He was 58 years of age. Elmer L. Manchester was born on February 2, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Loyad and Lavinia (Crandall) Manchester. Al married Sharon Timmreck on August 7, 2010 in Saginaw. Michigan. She survives him. Al was a co-owner and operator of the Dixie Dairy. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball and volleyball. Al was currently running for Buena Vista Trustee. Surviving are a son, Loyad Manchester II; two daughters, Shannon Manchester and her fiancé Diana Ramos and HeatherDawn Manchester; a step daughter, Erin Williams; seven grandchildren, Austin, Julian, Loyad III, Angelo, Jessica, Adam, and Jacob and two sisters, Lavina Lisee and Diann (Clarence) Beyerlein. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by a wife, Jody Ann Manchester and a sister, Ruth Ann Thomas. FUNERAL- Al's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (Off State). Chaplin Carol Wesolek will officiate with the burial in Buena Vista Township Cemetery. VISITATION- Friends are welcome to visit with Al's family at Deisler Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of 11:00 a.m. Service.
