SOTO, Nicholas "Nick" A. Sr. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. Age 23 yrs. Nicholas A. Soto Sr. was born November 22, 1988 in Saginaw to Juan Sr. and Teresa (Rivera) Soto. He proudly graduated from Omni Adult Education, Carrolton in 2011. Surviving are his family: Tina Rodriguez, two sons, Nicholas Jr., Santino Soto; father: Juan Soto Sr.; mother-in-law: Susie Rios; siblings: Juan Jr., Alice, Elizabeth (Jesus) and Stefanie (Larry) Soto; a special uncle: Gilbert Rivera; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family. Nicholas was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Soto; grandparents: Filomeno Sr. and Alice Rivera; two aunts: Rita and Celia Rivera; uncle: Antonio Rivera; his nephew: Adam Soto. FUNERAL: Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at St. George Catholic Church, 2120 Erie. Rev. Fr. Daniel Roa will officiate with Rite of Committal in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Nicholas will lie in state on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
