Cari Ayres

AYRES, Cari Lynn of Saginaw passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Cartwright Hospice Residence surrounded by her family. She was 36 years old. Cari Lynn Ayres was born June 22, 1975 in Saginaw to Diane M. (Zirkle) and Russell Ayres. Cari is survived by her children: Colleen Ayres Romero and Alex Romero; mother, Diane M. Ayres; sisters: Diane M. (David Castillo) Ayres and Shari (Mike Brown) Duby; brothers: Russell (Debra Watson) Ayres and Robert (Tara Zamora) Ayres; maternal grandmother: June Zirkle; and a special nephew, Nathan Robinson. Cari will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her faithful companion, Kacy. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Ayres; sister, Colleen Ayres; grandfather, James Zirkle; and a great niece, Mya Rivera. FUNERAL: Cari's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Ames United Methodist Church, 801 State Street. Rev. Jesse Karls will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cari will lie in state at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
