PRINCE, Sally Marsha of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. She was 75 years old. Sally M. Pildner was born on June 7, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Daniel J. and Bertha M. (Gillam) Pildner. She married Joseph Prince on September 23, 1967; he preceded her in death on January 20, 1994. Sally graduated of Saginaw High School in 1955. She had been employed by: Benjamin Franklin Store, Robertson's Laundry, Park and Shop Grocery Store and Ray's Food Fair. Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Robert (Lorna) Pildner, Jane Detloff, Karolyn (Robert) Chicky, and Martin (Mollie) Pildner; nieces and nephews: Robert (Becki) Pildner, Lori Pildner, Tamara (Stuart Banner) Detloff, Julie (Jack) Miller, Jennifer Pildner and her fiancé, Justin Martin, Daniel Pildner, Christina (John) Crinnion, and Robert Chicky, Jr. Also surviving are: Jillian, Harrison, Jack, Emma, Kaitlin, Olivia, Alexandra, Nathan, Cameron and Brendan. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kurt Roland Pildner; a brother-in-law, Ralph Detloff, and a nephew, Kevin Detloff. FUNERAL: A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Michael Kemper will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Diabetes Association, St. John's Lutheran Church, Cartwright Hospice Residence or the Human Society of Saginaw County. My deepest sympathy in the loss of Sally. I wasn't able to meet or know her but am sure she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. I would like to share with you a scripture that has brought me comfort at the loss of a loved one. It's in John 5:28,29. Here it speaks of the resurrection hope. Isn't it wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father not only has the power but also contains the desire to bring our loved ones back from the grave to life here on earth? What a glorious day we will soon see, when we exchange these tears of sorrow we are crying with tears of joy as we welcome back ones such as Sally back to our arms. Until that day comes, hold those memories you have close to your heart.
