William Riefe

RIEFE, William "Bill" John of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2012 surrounded by his family at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 67 years. Bill was born on April 24, 1944, in Saginaw to the late Reinhold and Mary Eileen (Lynch) Riefe. He was married to Mary Frances Redmond. She predeceased him on April 12, 1995. Bill was a graduate of St. Andrew High School. He had been employed by Pat Curtis Chevrolet Cadillac in Caro for over 30 years. Surviving are three daughters and a son; Lisa (Paul) Flessner of Jenison, MI, Kristen (Dan) Yockey of Saginaw, MI, Amy (Dave) Riffel of Oscoda, MI, James (fiancée Holly Davis) Riefe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren; David and Katherine Flessner, Mary Frances and Danny Yockey and Hannah Riffel. Bill is also survived by a sister, Carolyn Roeser of Grand Blanc, and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Carl Roeser. The family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff of the Cartwright Hospice Residence for their wonderful and loving care. FUNERAL - Bill's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd, (off State). Sharon Wahl will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION - Friends are welcome to visit with Bill's family at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
