Linda Dexter

DEXTER, Linda M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Centre. She was 98 years old. Linda M. Spitz was born on July 8, 1913 to the late Jacob and Maria Spitz. She had been employed at Lufkin Rule for many years. Linda was also a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church. Surviving are three sons: Marvin Dexter, Gerald (Joanne) Dexter , and Ronald (Shirley) Dexter all of Saginaw; one sister, Mildred Shotwell of Freeland; six grandchildren: Debbie (Glen) Harper of Saginaw, Randy (Pat) Dexter of Saginaw, Marcie Short of Saginaw, Allen Dexter of Texas, David Dexter of Florida, and Cheri Bordeau of Saginaw; 14 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Phillip Dexter and a great grandson, Derrick Short. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Rev. Paulette Cummings will officiate. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Linda's family on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the funeral home from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service.
