Helen Waters

WATERS, Helen M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Luther Manor. Helen M. Truskoski was born on May 17, 1918 in Boyne City, Michigan to the late Anthony and Rose Truskoski. She married Paul L. Waters on May 2, 1935 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on September 21, 1982. Helen was a founding member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Surviving are three sons: Dennis Waters, Paul M. (Bonnie) Waters and Keith (Pam) Waters; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a brother, Donald Cwerwinski and many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her siblings. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn. Rev. Fr. James G. Heller will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Helen's family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Helen will lie in state at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
