Patricia Moon

MOON, Patricia "Patty" D. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. She was 71 years old. Patricia Ambrasas was born November 20, 1939 in Saginaw to the late Raymond and Adella Ambrasas. Patty had been employed by Michigan Bell and retired after 30 years. She then worked for the Saginaw County Sheriff Department as a correction officer; retiring after 12 years of service. Patty also owned The Lavender Moon where she designed and created custom jewelry. She was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Terry (Rebecca) Moon; five grandchildren: Terry Jr., Alexa, and Samantha Moon, Alexa Ienna and Chayce Carnet; her life long friend, Rachel Jersevicz; many special friends from the Sheriff department including Becky Nellett and Otha Barnett; many wonderful neighbors including Terri & Gary Adams; she also enjoyed luncheons with the St Andrews classmates whom she recently connected with. FUNERAL: Patty's Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011 at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Jack Johnson will officiate. In accordance with Patty's wishes cremation has taken place. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Patty's family on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow.
