Frances Wright

WRIGHT, Frances E. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her home with her family at her side. She was 74 years old. Frances E. Nielsen was born on March 21, 1937 in Saginaw to the late Aage and Lucile Nielsen. She had been employed by George's Cleaners. She was a member of The Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Frances was an avid reader. Through the years she loved providing care for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Tamara E. Pimentel of Saginaw, Wendy L. Cruz of Saginaw, Dana C. (Julia) Wright II of Pasadena, Texas, Craig A. Wright of Montrose, CO, Jaime C. (Leigh) Wright of Wheat Ridge, CO, Erica L. Wright of Saginaw, and Deron A. (Carolynne) of Denver, CO; 25 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and a brother, John (Helen) Nielsen of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jonathon C. Wright; a granddaughter, Tonielle L. Wright; sister, Marie R. Smith, a brother, Aage Arthur Nielsen; and a sister, Jane L. Collison. FUNERAL: Frances' Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at The Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 615 Hoyt Ave. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will take place on Monday evening at 8:00 p.m. Frances will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
