Annie Cronkright

CRONKRIGHT, Annie Marie (Funka) of Hemlock, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at her home. She was 76 years old. Annie Marie Funka was born on February 3, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Paul and Daisy (Cole) Funka. She was married to her loving husband, Douglas Cronkright for 39 years. He predeceased her. Annie was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. She was employed by Michigan Bell as a telephone operator, retiring in 1989. Surviving are her beloved daughter and son: Catherine Berger and James (Christine) Cronkright; four grandchildren: Trisha and Lisa Berger, Tyler and Kyle Cronkright; two sisters: Linda Marr and Mary Burk; many nieces and nephews; a special nephew, David Marr and his family; best friends: Donna Cronkright and Norma Brashier; and a close friend, Carol Popielarz. FUNERAL: Annie's Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Mark Karls will officiate. Burial will follow in Richland Township Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
