Vincent Edward Zaborowski, Junior, a proud Marine passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 95. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, in 1930, the son of Vincent and Lottie Zaborowski, he lived a life defined by ambition and a quiet, steady kindness.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Vincent carried the values of "Semper Fidelis" throughout his long life. Whether in uniform or civilian life, he was known for his work ethic and his ability to bring a smile to people’s faces whether it be a known friend, or a passing acquaintance.
Beyond his service, he was a man of simple pleasures, a good cup of coffee, a decent Polish meal, a Michigan autumn, and the company of his friends and family. He witnessed nearly a century of history yet remained grounded in the things that mattered most: loyalty to his friends and love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Ann Hammons; son in-law, Dennis Mischka; brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard (Doris) Zaborowski and Gerald (Betty) Zaborowski; and brother in-law, Dennis Ahrens.
Vincent is survived by his sisters: Joyce (Ken) Bielski and Judy Ahrens; daughters: Marsha Mischka and Marilyn Sue Walton (Frederick); son in-law, Bill Hammons and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will remember him for his dry wit, his sharp memory, and the strength he shared with everyone around him.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate. A Committal service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps and American Legion Post # 439.
