Michael Bismack

Michael “Mike” Stephen Bismack, age 53, of Saginaw, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, following a brief illness. The son of Robert and Diana (Metiva) Bismack, Michael was born on June 26, 1972, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Chanda Wolfgang, on April 29, 2000.

Mike graduated from Wayne State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology. He was employed by Standard Electric as an Application Engineer. Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and he was a connoisseur of dad jokes and craft beer. He loved his family deeply and treasured time spent with his sons and extended family.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of nearly 26 years, Chanda Bismack; his adored sons, William “Will” Bismack and Nicholas “Nick” Bismack; his mother, Diana Bismack; his siblings, Jim (Sue) Bismack and Cheryl Bismack; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Carla (Scott) Thomas, Carmen (Vic) Salinas, and Brian Wolfgang; and his mother-in-law, Virginia Wolfgang. He also cherished his many nieces and nephews: Raymond (Lisa) and Daniel Strudgeon; Kara, Tessa, and Jason Thomas; Tito and Eric Salinas; and especially his niece, Gabrielle Bricault. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bismack.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Suman Kondaveeti will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Saginaw.

Memorials in honor of Mike may be made to the wishes of the family or to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, in care of the church.
