Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper at the age of 90. Joe was born on February 22, 1936, to the late Giuseppe and Olga Adamo in Detroit, Michigan. 

Joe was a very proud veteran of the United States Army.  He was involved with the family floral business in Detroit for many years prior to joining Comerica Bank.  He worked for Comerica in the indirect lending business until his retirement in 2004.  In 2006, he relocated to Saginaw to be closer to his children and grandchildren. 

Joe enjoyed volunteering for the Detroit Parade Company and especially loved the Thanksgiving Day parade.   He took great pleasure in cheering on and taking photos of his grandchildren at their various sporting events.  Joe was an 18-year member of the American Legion Post #439 where he was an active participant. 

Joe is survived by his loving family including his children: Susan (Tobin) Dust, Gayle (Alec) Laorr, Jeffrey (Lynette) Adamo; grandchildren: Brian and Andrew Dust, Scott and Ryan Laorr, Justine (fiancé, Kevin Gerber) and Elyse Adamo.

Cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life with a private gathering at a later date with military honors under the auspices of the United States Army.
